Financial Planning
Lifestyle Financial Planners are different.
We have 3 profiles.
Lifestyle financial planning is about having a financial plan that is built around the lifestyle you want now and in the future, rather than around just financial products.
1. Life planning: We help you identify what you want (or what they don’t want). This is often to maintain or improve your lifestyle. This is where we learn your story.
2. Financial planning: This is where we help you build and design a masterplan. We crunch the numbers, look at what you have now and determine if there are gaps in finances to deliver your goals.
3. Financial Advisor: We believe we have no right to talk about money until we get a thorough understanding of your story, needs, wants and goals. Products are our toolbox, which may be needed, or we may advise on your current products and levels of contributions. We then, if appropriate, find the correct products to fill gap in your plans.
Lifestyle financial planning goes beyond what we traditionally refer to as wealth, i.e., assets, net worth, and valuations. It seeks to understand the things you want to achieve in your lifetime, your values and what you want to be doing in 5-, 10-, 20- or 30 years’ time. It’s about establishing your goals and needs and enabling you to take control of your life and your finances.
In our guide, we look at why it’s important to understand your ambitions, your concerns, and your investment attitude to create a joined-up approach that works as your priorities change and you go
through different life events.
Creating a lifestyle planning approach should bring order and coordination to all areas of your finances, so you can achieve your lifestyle goals without fear of running out of money.
